The Good Half is the latest film from director Robert Schwartzman. 

 

It follows a young man named Renn (played by Nick Jonas), as he returns to his hometown for his mother’s funeral. Amidst his mourning, he is forced to deal with problems from his past, but also meets a young woman who gives him hope for the future.

 

While you can read our full review here, our very own Dempsey Pillot was fortunate enough to speak to Schwartzman about the film. In the interview, they discuss the connection between the plot and Schwartzman’s own life, the cast and even Schwartzman own relationship to his (iconic) family.
