Strange Planet may not fit well with my sense of humor; unaware of the book series it is based around nor the memes that seemingly have circled social media, this show is intriguing beyond a reasonable doubt but it simultaneously is so “strange” that I can’t decide if it's worth my time.

Animated with what I believe is the clear art style of the original creation, its plain appearance makes for the “instruction manual” dialogue all the more off-putting. It is titled Strange Planet so I suppose it should be common sense to find something strange in its execution but it’s to a point where its unique quality of humor can’t quite hit the target it’s seeking - especially with the standards set by the creator of Community and the Rick and Morty co-creator.
