SING 2 (2021) 

THE "IMDB" PREMISE:

"Buster Moon and his friends must persuade reclusive rock star Clay Calloway to join them for the opening of a new show."

OUR [TO THE POINT] REVIEW:

I was excited for this sequel for one main reason: I was taking my family to the theatre for this as a present. The first SING is a repeat viewing at my sister's house with my niece and nephew, and my mom even loves it! I didn’t find this one as charming as the first story of this unique crew, but the story and theme of perseverance and dismissing self doubt is a message I can always get behind. One thing I also really appreciated is how the songs don’t alter their lyrics because it is a children's film; I loved singing along (to myself!) to the hits! 

 

Bright, boppy, and colorful—SING 2 is fun for the whole family!
