PSYCH 3: THIS IS GUS (2021)

THE "IMDB" PREMISE:

"In preparation for a shotgun wedding before the birth of Baby Guster, Shawn and Groomzilla Gus go rogue in an attempt to track down Selene's estranged husband, as Lassiter grapples with the future of his career."

OUR [TO THE POINT] REVIEW:

Psych 3: This is Gus provides much needed growth to the series that the two previous films unfortunately lacked in, having the characters go through experiences that help mature the series while also not sacrificing any of its immature charm. This film finally finds its groove to match the style, tone, and pacing of the original show and offers new jokes instead of repurposing old ones.

The cast’s chemistry not only remains intact here, but also seems to be rejuvenated. The jokes pack more punch, the dramatic moments feel heavier and more genuine, and nothing feels dry or empty because the cast and direction are always giving it their all. Simply put, if you’re a Psych fan, you won’t be disappointed!
