Physical is back for its third and final run, leading the way to the finish line with gravitas and familiar uncertainty. Rose Byrne returns with yet another remarkable performance that generates a reaction of hatred, fear, hope and confusion based on her character of Sheila‘s actions.

 

Zooey Deschanel makes her introduction to this mentally exhausting ship that is seemingly starting to sink before it hits the port of its finale. Its layers have started to peel away and Sheila’s despicable nature seems to be on repeat as she continues to have hallucinations with her competitor and the continuous upheaval of her ex-husband’s revolting nature makes the show suffer from a lack of someone in the proximity of frame to care for.

 

Still tremendously acted, Physical has just run dry on its story and hopefully by the close of season 3, it’ll have its just deserts.
