MEET THE TEAm

A filmmaker based in central Illinois, Kevin Lau collaborates with Shatterglass Studios, The Line Film Co., and their joint production company Flyover Film Studios. Graduating with a bachelors in Cinema and a minor in Marketing from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Kevin has worked on projects such as the TV series Fargo and The Carbonaro Effect, as well as features including Black Mold (Tubi), Revealer (Shudder), Rising Phoenix (Netflix), and Visage Entertainment's first feature See No Evil, which was in partnership with Marvin Grey Matter Family showcasing how cognitive health plays a role in perpetuating political divides. He also produces The Filmographers Podcast, hosted by comic book writer Michael Moreci (Stranger Things) and novelist Keir Graff (Minerva Keen’s Detective Club).

 

Kevin’s upcoming projects span multiple mediums, but his philosophy remains the same: Tell stories that not only mean something, but also execute them in a way that sparks empathy and discussion.
