From the writer of A Quiet Place - 65 is NOW Available on Digital, 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD. Written by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods, the screenwriters of A Quiet Place and the writers/directors of the severely underrated Haunt. Produced by the legend of horror Sam Raimi, Deborah Liebling, Zainab Azizi, Scott Beck, and Bryan Woods.
“After a catastrophic crash on an unknown planet, pilot Mills (Adam Driver) quickly discovers he’s stranded on Earth…65 million years ago. Now, with only one chance at rescue, Mills and the only other survivor, Koa (Ariana Greenblatt), must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures in an epic fight to survive."
This science-fiction thriller has a limited cast of characters consisting of Adam Driver as Mills, a pilot stranded on an unknown planet and the one survivor amongst his cargo - Koa (Ariana Greenblatt). The film spans the runtime of approximately 93 minutes and is rated PG13 for intense sci-fi action and peril, and brief bloody images.
As of 5/31/2023, the Critical Rotten Tomatoes score sits at a 35% with an audience rating of 65%. Under the Cinefied banner we’d rate the feature a HALF popcorn. The feature has a lot going for it from the performances to the world creation but there is something lacking in the art of the storytelling that makes 65 speak more to some than others, especially in a rewatchability aspect.
