WYLD STALLYNS RIDE AGAIN!

Shout! Factory has released the most excellent trilogy boxset for Bill & Ted on 4K UHD in the Bill & Ted Most Triumphant Trilogy. Beautifully packaged with a fantastic box taking center stage with its uniquely Easter Eggs and concealing all three of the trilogy in individual packaging. 

From a visual point of view, Shout! Factory gave Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey and even the recent Bill & Ted Face the Music an upgrade into the present age of home theater technology with its new 2160p/Dolby Vision presentation. 

Where the latest entry doesn’t have as much of an upres to worry about over the other 90s cult hits, the color grading can be slightly distracting, muting the colors that seemed so bold back when I first dove into the first film in the early 10s. The special effects are just as charming as the day it hit theaters and the costume design, while not as vibrant as originally thought, is wonderfully crafted. 

The sound doesn’t offer anything different than the previous offerings from Shout! But maybe that’s not a bad thing as the films sound great as they are. The film is about a time traveling two man band, so to have the music sound groovy is a good priority to have.

It’s time to Party On, Dudes! And grab this box set while you have the chance because it's certainly one to have for all those looking to relive the days of the Wyld Stallyns heyday.
