1992 SYNOPSIS:

A shopkeeper must save his son from an angry mob during the 1992 L.A. uprising after the Rodney King verdict.

Every city has a breaking point.

From executive producer Snoop Dogg, the action-crime thriller 1992 stars Tyrese Gibson and directed by Ariel Vromen and co-starring Ray Liotta in one of his final film roles. The film hit theaters in a limited release on August 30th, only grossing 2.9 million during its run.

Now available on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital, experience this unexpected heist thriller that delivers the best performance of Tyrese Gibson's career. Ray Liotta satisfies in an opposing role, who was confirmed to have finished filming his role before his untimely death. The film does have an odd mixture of a fictional heist occurring against the backdrop of real outrage in the streets. It's melodramatic moments overpower a proper crime thriller and it never quite reaches the heights it's ambitions try to reach.
